On why we built EPCdoc, and where we are taking it.
Twenty years working on capital projects teaches you a lot about what goes wrong. Not the engineering — the engineering is hard but structured. The enterprise platforms that serve large EPC programmes are powerful. They are also extraordinarily expensive to license, complex to implement, and built on architecture that predates the AI era. EPCdoc is a young platform, and we have a clear-eyed view of what we have not yet built. Formal correspondence and RFI management. Inspection and test plan workflows. Full BIM coordination. We are building those — in that order, because that is the order in which they matter most to our customers.
