7. International Data Transfers
EPCdoc is operated from India. When personal data is transferred outside India or the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for transfers to third countries
- Adequacy decisions where applicable
- Binding Corporate Rules where relevant
- Contractual protections aligned with DPDP Act 2023 cross-border transfer provisions
Enterprise customers requiring data residency in specific jurisdictions (India, EU, UAE, UK) may request a preferred data residency configuration through their account settings or by contacting cs@tworai.com.
8. Data Retention
- Active accounts: data retained for the duration of the subscription
- After subscription cancellation: 90 days for data export, then securely deleted
- Billing records: 7 years (legal/tax compliance requirement)
- Security and audit logs: 2 years
- Marketing consent records: 3 years from last interaction
- Legal hold: data subject to a legal hold is retained until the hold is lifted

11. Children's Privacy
EPCdoc is a professional business platform not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email and a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
